Azam Shadpour, born 1983 in Tehran. She is studying MA-Time Based Media in Linz University of Art. She graduated BA-painting from the Tehran Art university. Currently, her focus is mostly on photography, and is interested in photographic compositions, lighting and color which are influenced by painting, experiences. Also, she is using photo installation methods according to the special concept. Mostly she has chosen her subjects and themes using personal life that she has experienced. Her current focus is on city and finding subjects from the city as a flâneur, who is a person explore the city with own experience.
She participated in different group and solo exhibitions in Iran, France, America, Thailand, Switzerland and Austria.
International Art Fairs: Photo Fever- Paris; Frame Experience- Miami, USA; Frame Basel- Basil Arts Centre; publication of her photo collection entitled “An act of Memory” in the Femme Photographer Magazine and artist residence of Land steirmark, Graz-2021 and her last solo exhibition was in off_gallery/2022, Graz-Austria.
